K is for Kreinik

I love this thread and have quite the stash of it. Right now we aren't getting along. Why? Because stitching white on white does hurt my eyes!

This is Betsy Ross's Needlecase by Gay Ann Rogers. I have done all the nuns stitch and cross stitch on this section. Need to get out the instructions and see what I get to do next. I refuse to look and see if I have to repeat all this on the other section of this canvas!!!

And for you ort collectors out there-birders say not to put your threads out for the birds. They choke on them(?). And yes Jo, my orts are very long. I am quite rough on them and noticed when I stitch to the very end, I have fuzzy stitches. If I was more careful with my threads.....

Beautiful work even if it is hard on the eyes!
I am glad that you don't put your ORTs as I'd read that it is bad for the wildlife too. Even 2mm ones like mine!

I heard it not only can choke birds, but they use it to build their nests and the yarn gets soaked with water, making the wee ones get too cold. Much better to find some pretty indoor use for them - or just throw them away!
Your white-on-white is very pretty :)
