Borders Taking Shape

Still have lots of stings, but I am getting some work done on this.  The borders are stitching faster and I hope to get them finished this weekend.  Depends on the weather: the kids have a piano contest and if we get lots of snow, I will stay home and stitch on this.  If not too much snow, out comes the coin purse!

Heart Coin Purse

This is my small project that I carry with me for appointments.  I need another coin purse as I changed to a new purse and my old wallet does not fit.

Changed Colors

This band is almost finished.  It has been snowing outside so I gave myself permission to stitch.  Then I realized the bathroom needed cleaning and for some reason my teens want dinner....Guess I will finish this later.

Excuse All the Strings...

I finished the outlines for all the pots.  I have a feeling adding the accents to them won't go as quickly...But before I did that, I wanted to start on the border.  So much fun!!! I love specialty stitches.  Maybe I will get some time tonight while watching the Olympics.

First Finish of 2014

It is nice to  get a project done even if it is just a little Mill Hill bead kit. Hopefully I will get a bigger project done soon...

A Little Bit of Cuff

Here is a little of Elizabeth's cuff.
I was blog hopping yesterday and saw this post by Nicola at Stitching By A Cornish Sea Shore . In it she post advice given by a woman before doing any sewing. It is worth a look.  Anyway, it made me realize that I don't stitch until I get all my chores done.  Maybe if I gave myself rewards during the day, I would get more stitching time.  By evening I have been too tired lately to get anything big out. Just a thought...

Another Band on Heirloom

I got a little more done before setting this downstairs.  We had company and they brought a puppy.  I knew I wouldn't have time to stitch and I did not want to offer her any temptation.
