Not much stitching

I have been helping with VBS this week and have not had much stitching time.  I could not think yesterday so all I did was work on the background until I ran out of thread on my needle.  While I have a little energy today I will rethread it so I can do some stitching tonight.  FYI: Gay Ann Rogers mentioned that she is thinking about stitching Catherine the Great.    Something to add to my collection....

I Think I am Too Easily Distracted

I have way too much going on, yet I started this bracelet.  It is in very dark colors which is why I placed it on the back of a sheet of paper. (I should have realized that the writing would show through.) I don't think I will finish it because one side I stitched very tightly, while the other is loose.  Since it is herringbone stitch, the second side is correct.  It doesn't bother me to not finish this as I learned a lot.  Maybe I will start another one in the winter.

Theresicas Finished

I think I am done with all the theresicas. They were great fun to add and really made the piece.  Now I need to go through my beads and decide what to add to the center.

Elizabeth's Bodice

We are having another cool and rainy day here so my picture is not the best.  It feels great to see real progress though.

Adding Theresicas

Pots finished

Theresicas
I finally got all the basketweave done on this piece and started adding the theresicas. I really enjoy stitching them and deciding where to place them.  I showed it to my family to get an opinion and my dh said he really likes this piece.  That surprised me as I thought they wouldn't like the color scheme.  My original plan was to give it to my mom when I was done. Will have to wait and see.

Lots of little pots

Before

After
I have done a little work on Ghost Dancer.  If I counted correctly, I have two more small pots to stitch.  The rest remain empty.  I am anxious to start the next step on this...It made me feel better to see the before and after pictures... I am making progress.
