Z is for Zebra

I bought this canvas for one of my kids to stitch, but she doesn't stitch anymore and there it sits in my stash.
I finished the A to Z Challenge!!!It would be fun to revisit these pieces next year to see if they still live in my stash or have moved on or if I have done some stitching on them!!!

Y is for Yarn

I do not have much yarn as I do not knit.  It is one of the few crafts that I don't do!  But I do crochet.  This yarn is for an afghan that I hope to do.  The only problem is that I can't read the pattern.  I have friend who do and one of these days this pile of yarn will be something beautiful.

X is for Cross Stitch

I know. I know.  Cross stitch doesn't start with an x, but I have a tone of patterns that I need to make hundreds and thousands of x's on.
This first one is "Bee Happy" by Sandra Sullivan.  I even have the fabric for it and it is together with the pattern! A minor miracle if you ask me.
Then there is this Autumn Box by Victoria Sampler.  Just love the colors.  No fabric bought for it yet.
And I found one of my "lost" Just Nan patterns!
And another Victoria Sampler called Winter Box.  A friend bought it accidentally and decided she did not want to do it.  One of these centuries I will get to it.

W is for Wildflower Box

I don't remember when my son and I did this with a group from my local guild, but it was years ago.
I have finished the band around the top of the box,I think.

My son finished his box and won a prize at the local fair. Maybe I should just steal his and be done with it.

V is for Vintage Ornament

My guild ordered these for a group project.  I ordered quite a few and they live in my basement with all my other Christmas stash.  I could almost do an A to Z challenge with my Christmas stuff.

U is for Under Garments

I received this canvas set years ago as a gift.  I think it would be cute stitched up and in my little bathroom.  I remember my boys being disgusted with the whole idea.  They are in college now, but I have a feeling they still wouldn't approve.

T is for Twister

Yes, I have this canvas and pattern lurking in my stash. It is Twister by Patricia Spencer. I even joined the yahoo group that was going to work on this together.  So sad.  Every time I see this, I want to pull threads and stitch it!

S is for Santas

My Santas live in their own little box.
This is just one of many that live there.
And they have their own specialty threads.  Will I ever get them all done?
This is my Christmas Tree Santa.  I just love his beard!

Q is for Queen

No, this is not a rehash of my Elizabeth piece from last year but a new cross stitch chart that I bought.  It was too cute not to add to my stash.  And since my son is a bee keeper, it seemed like a good idea.

P is for Prelude

Yes, I own Prelude to piece along with the threads.  Sad, but true.  It was a Not Attending Seminar piece from 1999.  (That is what the NAS '99 means.)  One of these days I will frame it up and stitch it.

O is for Orna

This is a new workshop that I am taking with CyberPointers .It is called Victory Garden and it is by Orna Willis
I think I am doing the Tiki colorway but I can't remember.  I also think the workshop is done so I am behind.  But I do have my canvas!

N is for Noah

Yes, I have all 12 canvas pieces for Noah and his wife along with lots of cute animals.  Threads and stitch guides were included along with this bag from the shop:
I have as yet to even take one stitch.  I don't remember when I bought these.  So sad.  I want to get them done as I would hate to have my kids have to go through my stash wondering what to do with all this stuff! Although I guess the same thing would happen if I got them stitched and finished...

M is for Morgan, Betsy

I saw this project in my Inspirations Magazine and I had to have the kit!  It is Seasons by Betsy Morgan.  I think it would look so nice on my work area.  Thank goodness I have a friend who wants to do it too so hopefully we can get it done in the next decade or so.

L is for Lizards

I love this canvas!  It is one of the first I ever bought and I think it was in 2004.  I am not sure about that, but I think that is right.  I have the threads for the piece  and ideas for stitching it. But have I taken one stitch?  NO!  One of these days...

K is for Knot Garden

This is  a lovely piece by Catherine Jordan.  I love this piece as it involves painting the  gardens and doing a little creative work.  I can't remember when I started this.  I do know that I didn't get very far.

J is for Just Nan

For those of you that mainly do needlepoint, Just Nan is a cross stitch designer.  I found these two lovely pieces in my stash-Miss Kitty's Dragons and Wildflower Wish.  I know I have another piece started somewhere, but I didn't want to dig for it.

I also found these two patterns called High Hopes.  Yes, two identical patterns.  I mentioned it to a friend at a stitch-in and she said she would buy it from me. Thank goodness!  Two of the same thing! Crazy!
