More Sumptuous Stitching

This is a great class!  Sharon B is encouraging and helpful.  I  have lots to do on this piece,  but our next lesson is due tomorrow and I will need to try to keep up.  Here is a better link for Sharon B:  pintangle.com
When will I have time for Spring Splendor?

Some Spring Splendor

I finally got some work done on my piece.  It is much more difficult than I thought, but I am enjoying it.  Hopefully I will have some more time soon to work on this.
Cynthia, you are so busy!!! How do you get any stitching done?  Sigh.  Just registered my oldest for college.  Life is always changing.

Heart of Elizabeth-Gay Ann Rogers

I was going to wait to start this, but I couldn't.  It is a little heart by Gay Ann Rogers and it is to prepare us for doing The Real Thing.  What is The Real Thing?  Elizabeth!  If you go to http://www.gayannrogers.com/ , I believe She is there.  If not, I will find Her Majesty and post a picture of Her.

I Started a New Project....

but it ended up in The Basement.  Why?  Not really sure.  It was a bargello piece by Janet Perry for Cyberpointers and I thought it would be fun.  But I dreaded stitching on it.  It required serious counting.  I didn't want to work on it so down it went.
Here is what I did this week on Winter Woods.  Hopefully next week I will have progress on a different project!

Does it Need some Yellow?

Actually, it would be Mustard or Butterscotch....Sorry for the bad picture, but it is raining and I couldn't get a better photo.  This will be a quilt for my mom.  Hopefully it won't take 10 years like my first one.  I need to be inspired by my dd who took less than a year to make her first twin sized quilt.  And she machine quilted it herself!

A Little More Done

Not much progress this week, but I did get a bit done.  Keep wanting to start a new project and am trying to be good.

Beth's May WIPocalypse

I decided to try and make some progress on my Agecroft Sweet Bag by Catherine Jordan.  One of the ladies in my guild has almost finished hers.  I am very jealous!  The gold in the piece is a pain!  It doesn't like to bend so I will have tons of fun using it for all the vines.
I hope to restart Spring Splendor tomorrow.
