Gay Ann Rogers WIPs

 If you have been following me for very long, you know I'm a big fan of Gay Ann Rogers. Here are my current WIPS that are hers:

I hope to work on these soon. HA! Gay Ann Rogers has issued a challenge on her Facebook page to get out one of her queens and make an appointment to work on her. I need to reframe Catherine on better stretcher bars and then she will get some attention.

The People's Choice- January 2023

 Well, this is another SAL hosted by Jo over at Serendipitous Stitching.

 

I think my designer of the year will be- Gay Ann Rogers. Surprise. Surprise.

I have quite a few of her kits that haven't been started along with several that I have started.

K is for Kreinik

 I love this thread and have quite the stash of it. Right now we aren't getting along. Why? Because stitching white on white does hurt my eyes!

This is Betsy Ross's Needlecase by Gay Ann Rogers. I have done all the nuns stitch and cross stitch on this section. Need to get out the instructions and see what I get to do next. I refuse to look and see if I have to repeat all this on the other section of this canvas!!!

And for you ort collectors out there-birders say not to put your threads out for the birds. They choke on them(?). And yes Jo, my orts are very long. I am quite rough on them and noticed when I stitch to the very end, I have fuzzy stitches. If I was more careful with my threads.....

G is for Gay Ann Rogers

 If you have followed my blog for a while, you know that Gay Ann is my favorite designer. I have more Mill Hill bead kits than Gay Ann kits, but that is like comparing apples and oranges, don't you think?

I have been trying to get some work done on this needlecase. It is truly slow going....

The white on white is difficult to see. I am so ready for a "fun" part!

My New Project

 I got my photo to load and have decided to take a hot minute and do a post.

Doesn't look like much, does it? It is the start on Gay Ann Rogers' Betsy Ross Needlecase.

This is what it will look like on the outside.   I like having a little needlepoint piece to work on as I am finding that I get tired of all the tiny x's I am making with cross stitch.
