A Little Bit on My Beloved

This piece is taking me forever! I spent a full evening and this is all I was able to accomplish:
This might have been two evenings....
And here is my progress on Royal Garden:
I was missing a color of perle cotton which I think is on its way to me....But I couldn't wait so I started with a thread I had in my stash. I think it works!

WIP Wednesday

I forgot how nice it is to see progress of the work I have accomplished.  I was looking for something on my blog the other day and it was fun to see old projects. Hopefully, that will encourage me to blog more often.

I pulled MH 1656 back out of time out:

The flowers are done incorrectly, but are staying. I just need to keep moving on this piece.

I also spent a little time on Agnus Dei:

I love watching the patterns develop.  What are you currently stitching?

IHSW for July

Yipee! It was a stitchy weekend for me.  I was able to accomplish a lot although less than I planned.

First, I finished Autumnal Abstractions by Joni Stevenson:
Perfect? Not by a long shot, but it was fun and I enjoyed stitching it. The leaves look over-powering in the photo, but look nice in real life.

I started a new project this weekend:

Royal Garden by Debbie Rowely. I am stitching along with Fiber Talk
Yes, I am helping Gary by being his co-host. I think he will eventually find someone who is a better speaker than I am, but I am enjoying myself!

Gifted Gorgeousness For July

This is the brainchild of Jo over at Serendipitous Stitching
You are to post a photo of a project that is a gift, was a gift to you or that fits the description of gift in anyway! I thought I didn't have anything to share, but I have made these masks for my daughter:
They still need the elastic, but they are almost done.

I forgot to show you my completed #the100dayproject!
I know there are 100 hearts although I really wasn't great about taking photos of each one. Not sure what I will do with it.  Any ideas?

I Finished a Piece (Almost)

First, in answer to   Jo
this piece has a pattern, but you get to decide where you want to place stitches.  I have finished the canvas part and am working on the leaves that need to be attached. It will also need a branch..
But I love it that I made so much progress on this piece.  Are you getting much stitching done?

WIP Wednesday

I am stitching, just not on My Beloved, MH 1656. I will get back to it, just not right now.

This piece has been holding my attention:
We painted the canvas during the workshop and Joni Stevson had us add netting, cheese cloth and yarns to the piece. It is fun to stitch and I am fairly close to finishing it.
Thanks for your encouragement to purchase that Mill Hill Kit. But it can't travel alone so....
Hope everyone is staying cool. I need to go pull my garlic and maybe weed. Have a great day!

Happy Fourth of July!

Happy Fourth of July to everyone in the United States of America!

Today is also the first Saturday of the month and People's Choice SAL. This is the brainchild of Jo over at  Serendipitous Stitching
The choice this month is the designer you stitched the most. I cannot go count them all, but I think Mill Hill will win. Nor will I bore you with all my little stitching projects that I have stitched. (I doubt I even have photos of them all!)  But I have been very good about not buying any more of them as I have quite the stash. The problem is there is a new one that has been released that I would love to do for a very dear friend.
What do you think? Should I order it and stitch it up for her?
