Advent Calendar Blog Hop 2022

Jo is hosting the Advent Calendar Blog Hop 2022. Her blog can found here

We are to post a photo of something we have stitched that has a Christmas or winter theme.  And we are to answer this question:

"What's for Afters?"

Now if you are like me, you are wondering what is "Afters?" According to Jo, it is dessert.

Well, that is easy to answer. We like toffee which I make every year in great quantities. Last year I made 19 batches.

I have a thing for Mill Hill bead kits, which you might know. Here are a couple that I hang on my tree:

Don't forget to check out Jo's blog to see the rest of the posts for Advent.

Merry Christmas Beth: I am a pie after dinner, especially apple, warmed and with ice cream.
I have many Mill Hill designs hanging on my tree each year, they are such sweet designs.

Toffee is lovely for a sweet tooth. I like your Mill Hill Bead designs. I have two, one each for Christmas and Winter which I must pull out some day and complete.

Thanks for starting our Advent Calendar this year. I do like toffee too, a nice sticky toffee pudding with custard on a cold Winter’s day would be lovely.
The Mill Hill ornaments are great, quick to FFO too!

Perfect ornaments for a stitcher Christmas tree! I love the look of this Santa! Toffee sounds great, this year with every day "afters" in the Advent Calendar it will be hard not to start to eat sweets too earlier! Joyeuses fêtes de Noël ! Amitiés. xxx

I'm a sucker for Mill Hill kits, too -- what's not to love about stitching AND beading? That toffee looks delicious. My mom used to make some; I should ask her for the recipe.
