Because I need something small to work on and I have quite the collection of Gay Ann Roger's hearts, I decided to pull out Purple Mountain Majesty, which is part of her Patriotic Heart series:
Not much of a start, but getting the outline done takes a bit.Hopefully I can work on this a bit each month and get one heart stitched this year.
Thank you for your kind words. I am still not sure what I will use for my travel project. But I am sure I have something in my stash that will work.

That's a great heart, it reminds me of the hymn All Things Bright and Beautiful!
I love these hearts, they are always so fun to watch grow. I bet getting the outline in correctly is important, and well worth the time!
