Mill Hill Finishes

I decided it was past time to start my finishing for the year. I started with my Mill Hill kits as they are the easiest. First I placed them on fusible interfacing, the kind that has glue on one side. Then I iron them and then cut them out. Sometimes I get fancy and use felt and glue, but not this year...
Here they are all cut out.
The last thing I do is cut out the picture that comes with the kit and place it in my stitching journal.
I am not very good about keeping notes on my stitching, but it is fun to look and see all that I have stitched over the years.
As far as the Nativity series goes, I still have 5 more to do! Two were on my list for this year, but never were completed. The other  3 are in my basement....

They are all lovely and a great idea for the backing. Are they going to hang, or are you going to make them stand up?

Great finishes! Isn't nice to finish finish things? I need to take a look at my finishing pile and see what I can do.

Congrats on the beautiful finishes Beth. They will look great on your tree.

I love this series of ornies, they look great all made up.
Good idea with the Stitching Journal too. I have photographed all my finishes (most of them!) and have a Happy Dance blog but not a physical album of the photos.

These are beautiful! I have been thinking I should put together a stitching journal. Perhaps I will work it into my bullet journal. I love how you add your project to your stitching journal.
