Some Mill Hill Progress

I have been working on this Jim Shore Santa:

I hadn't spent much time on it, but I had a bunch of time on Saturday to work on it:

I feel like I can actually complete this soon.

Mill Hill Finishes

I decided it was past time to start my finishing for the year. I started with my Mill Hill kits as they are the easiest. First I placed them on fusible interfacing, the kind that has glue on one side. Then I iron them and then cut them out. Sometimes I get fancy and use felt and glue, but not this year...
Here they are all cut out.
The last thing I do is cut out the picture that comes with the kit and place it in my stitching journal.
I am not very good about keeping notes on my stitching, but it is fun to look and see all that I have stitched over the years.
As far as the Nativity series goes, I still have 5 more to do! Two were on my list for this year, but never were completed. The other  3 are in my basement....

Day 3 Start and A Finish

I just put a few stitches in my new piece:
I do have several more in this series to do...
I was able to finish my Santa yesterday.
I really, really need to get back to Heirloom Stitching Sampler. If I write it often enough, maybe I will.

The Kitty is Stitched

I have had lots of stitching time but no desire to work on the Heirloom Sampler.  This has been so much fun to stitch. Thank goodness I have several more Mill Hill Santas in my stash....
I may even have another one of these in my stash.

Not Much Stitching Going On Here....

Wow, it has been along time since I was able to post.  I have been busy making Christmas goodies as gifts for family and friends.  Not much time or energy for stitching, but I do have a little progress to show.
I work a little each night and it makes me feel better.  Hopefully I will be able to dig out my Heirloom Stitching Sampler next week and make some progress on it.  Although I did get a new Janet Zickler Casey Santa in last week...Temptations abound!

New Mill Hill Bead Project

Sorry these are such bad photos, but I wanted to post my new project.  I had sorted the threads a few months ago but never started stitching it.  I have a bunch of these to do so I am thinking about doing a Crazy January Challenge.  Will let you know if I do.
