A New Finish

 I was camping with my husband and I managed to finish a piece:

It was a Petite Project by Judy Jeroy through the Embroidery Guild of America. It is crewel work which is a fun and relaxing technique.

Sampler September

I have made some progress on Pour ta Fete and had thought I would try to finish it before the end of the year...It's good to have goals, right?

 Well, the new moon has come and gone, but I still wanted to post for the Totally Useless SAL-show your orts!

IHSW for August 2022

 It was the third week of the month so we celebrated with the International Hermit and Stitch Weekend!

The idea is to stitch as much as possible and to post photos on Facebook. It is just a fun idea.

I didn't take photos on Friday of my starting point, but I will do my best to show a before and after photos.

I had hoped to get all the background done on my painted canvas:

No such luck:

I did get all the way to the bottom....

I also forced myself to fully finish this little crewel piece. I needed a cover for my bullet journal and this worked!

Gifted Gorgeousness for August 2022

 How the month has flown! Hope everyone is having a good summer.

What is Gifted Gorgeousness, one may ask? It is a monthly post about something you are stitching or have stitched, that is a gift or was a gift or has the word gift in it.  I'm going with the last definitions....Loosely...

Working on My Painted Canvas

 I have been trying to get this piece done. I have made more than one mistake on the background, but I want to get this done.

The bearded dragon also needs to be stitched along with the border.
