I have wanted to start this project since it came out in the Inspirations Book. This is the Limonera Pear by Christine Burton.
I'm stitching it on Merlot by BestitchMe fabric and DMC 4516.

I finished the Midnight Elegance Ornament by Debbie Rowely. I need to fully finish it but that will be for another day.
I want to make another one in reds....It's the new moon so it's time for the Totally Useless SAL- TUSAL. This is the day we post photos of our orts. I didn't empty my jar at the beginning of the month:
And here's the little wooden ort bowl that I keep close when I am Zooming:Question of the Month: Tell us about the oldest WIP you have in your stash.
Hmm. I think it is Venetian Delight by Ro Pace. I started it in 2003 I think at the American Needlepoint Guild.
Here's the pieces I stitched this month:
Janette Kirkland -Queenstown Sampler Designs
Pour ta Fete by Lindsey Lane Designs
I also finished a few smalls. The large one is the Mabel Tuke small by Sassafras Samplers. The Quakers were by With My Needle.I didn't grab pictures of my before, but here are the pieces I stitched over the weekend:

Midnight Elegance Ornament -Debbie Rowley Pour ta Fete by Lindsey Lane Designs.I don't think Jo over at Sersendipitous Stitching is hosting this anymore, but I love the idea of posting things that are gifts, will be gifted or has anything to do with gifts.
This will be an ornament and I hope to make a couple and gift them. Here's my progress on Midnight Elegance Ornament -Debbie Rowley.
If you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn...
Midnight Elegance Ornament by Debbie Rowely
A small start on this beautiful piece. I'm hoping to make several, fully finish them and gift them at Christmas. Please don't hold your breath.
Stole this from Melissa:
... if you’re new to WIPocalypse… welcome! We’re glad to have you! If you’re returning – oh HAI! So happy you’re continuing this weird little project with me. 🙂 As always, remember that this is a project for fun. If you can’t participate for a while, that’s cool. If you’re too busy – no problem! If you lose your stiching mojo – trust me, we’ve all been there. Jump in and out as your life allows. WIPocalypse started when there weren’t a ton of general stitching challenges out there and the Facebook groups that now are so dominant were essentially non-existent, and it’s always intended to be low-key, low-stress, and just “hooray – look at my progress!” with no other expectations. It absolutely can be combined with any other challenges you have going. Just tack us on as an extra accomplishment in your cap. (grin) Some more competitive stitchers may ask what’s the point of it all – but that’s just it… WIPocalypse has never really had a point, other than to be a space where stitchers can celebrate making progress on their pieces. So come on in, grab a comfy spot to stitch, and share your progress with us....
So, I have been stitching for YEARS! Probably since I was around 8 years old. I started with embroidery and learned to cross-stitch when I was in college. I will try to keep a list of my WIPs in my side-bar, but I have to find them in the stash first. I hope to organize my stash as part of this challenge. But my main goal this year is to get a few major projects done. I like doing cross-stitch, needlepoint and embroidery. Maybe that is why I have so many WIPS in the first place.
Cabinet of Curiosity:
My goal is to get one panel done this year.
Angel of Love:
I would love to get this done in 2025.
Bountiful Kitties:
I have so many Mill Hill kits that I decided to start one as my travel project.
Baltic Easter Basket Cover-Avlea
I need to get the hem stitch done on this to send it on to my daughter.
I will add projects as I find them. Or as I start them. Whatever comes first....
The Sampler Guild (UK) started a challenge to stitch every day. I decided last year that I wanted to finish the Angel of Love by Lavender and Lace.
I figure if I do a little each day, I should have a finish by the end of 2025. If I don't get distracted!
I started this Mill Hill kit to have a travel project.
