I have a finish! This is when I started Pour ta Fete:

Now I need to give it a bath and iron it.

The pattern was from The Attic along with the original conversion. I changed colors from threads I bought from Sassy Jack's. Soie Surfine and 56 count Sycamore Seedpod. I need to look at my WIPs and see what else I can finish.

I have stitched all the lace patterns. Now need to add the sparkle next.

Gifted Gorgeousness August 2025

 Today is the day we post items that have to do with gifts. The complete information can be found at Serendipitous Stitching the awesome blog by Jo.

A friend and her husband are fantastic gardeners. I went the other day and picked banana peppers that I pickled:

I also made honey mustard pickles that I will gift later this fall.

I have been working on Pour ta Fete. I keep thinking I will finish this month, but I know it won't get done until December. Lots and lots of tiny stitches!

I decided to work on Isabella:

The colors are gorgeous and she is so much fun! She is put away again, but after I finish Pour ta Fete, she might come back out to play!

Band 2 is Complete

 

Except I need to add beads.

Phoenix Band Sampler

 I have been trying to stay on task with my stitching. I've given myself 18 months to finish this project. Let's see how that goes!

The large Rhodes stitch is incorrect and will need to be ripped!

July was Busy

 Here is my calendar for July:

My mother in law passed away in June and we held her memorial in July. It was a lovely service for a wonderful lady.

Total Useless SAL July

 Well, the New Moon came and went but I wanted to post my orts:

I have to rip something out so my ort container will be a little fuller soon.

A Section is Finished

 I finished the next section of my Limonera Pear.

Scissors Case Progress

 This project is perfect when I am busy or don't have a lot of energy.

I'm using threads from my stash. Will try to post what I am using when I finish the piece.

Gifted Gorgeousness July 2025

 This is the SAL set up by Jo over at Serendipitous Stitching where we show things that are gifts for people, are stitching pieces that were gifted to us,etc.

I have been trying to get my Pour ta Fete done:

I realized I made a counting error and had to rip! 

Sigh.

 But I am slowly making progress.

 

Phoenix Band Sampler

 I have been working on my Phoenix Band Sampler by Northern Expressions Needlework.

I had to play with my colors.  

 

I finally decided on a Vikki Clayton silk Umber 4257. My goal is to get all the cross stitch done on the second band. It is a start a long with FiberTalk and I am bound and determined not to let this one end up in my basement! Here are a couple of videos of our progress.

 

A Single Thread

 I was stitching along and realized I was one thread over on Pour ta Fete.

Can you see the problem?

I will be ripping as I can see it. And I know that to the left of the brown will be a straight line of stitches. The mistake will really show up.

Wipocaplypse June 2025

 It's not quite the end of the month, but I have managed to stitch on Pour ta Fete everyday:

It wasn't a lot of stitches as I had a family emergency, but every little bit helps!
