 Well, I am trying to keep up with my stitching projects.

 It's not quite the end of the month, but I have managed to stitch on Pour ta Fete everyday:

It wasn't a lot of stitches as I had a family emergency, but every little bit helps!

I also finished a section on my Limonera Pear:

Worked a little on Hapsburg Lace Needle case:

Started my oxen for my Harmony of Nature casket:

And fully finished a Stitched Stories project:

Well, I managed to get a bit of stitching done this month.

First up, Pour ta Fete -I finished a letter!

Next month we have the challenge of stitching one stitch on a piece every day of the month. Pour ta Fete is my choice for the challenge.

I made progress on my drum:

And I got a section done on my Limonera Pear:

Hapsburg Lace Needlecase and the scissors case are moving forward:

This Blue Flower piece, Bees in the Greenhouse needs some attention:

But I finished my first little section on my Harmony of Nature Casket!

The question from Melissa this month is: How do you personally distinguish between a Work in Progress (WIP) and an Unfinished Object (UFO)?

A WIP is something I am currently stitching; a UFO are the projects in my basement!

 Well, I have been stitching and have made some progress on my projects.

This SAL is the brainchild of  Melissa over at Measi's Musings . The question of the month is: Let's talk fabric- what is your go-to fabric dyer, your preferred type, count, color, etc? Personally, I love BeStitchMe fabrics . I like all colors and try to collect as many as possible. But my preferred count would be 40 or 45 count linen.

Question of the Month: Tell us about the oldest WIP you have in your stash.

Hmm. I think it is Venetian Delight by Ro Pace. I started it in 2003 I think at the American Needlepoint Guild.

So happy you’re continuing this weird little project with me. 🙂 As always, remember that this is a project for fun. If you can’t participate for a while, that’s cool. If you’re too busy – no problem! If you lose your stiching mojo – trust me, we’ve all been there. Jump in and out as your life allows. WIPocalypse started when there weren’t a ton of general stitching challenges out there and the Facebook groups that now are so dominant were essentially non-existent, and it’s always intended to be low-key, low-stress, and just “hooray – look at my progress!” with no other expectations. It absolutely can be combined with any other challenges you have going. Just tack us on as an extra accomplishment in your cap. (grin) Some more competitive stitchers may ask what’s the point of it all – but that’s just it… WIPocalypse has never really had a point, other than to be a space where stitchers can celebrate making progress on their pieces. So come on in, grab a comfy spot to stitch, and share your progress with us....

So, I have been stitching for YEARS! Probably since I was around 8 years old. I started with embroidery and learned to cross-stitch when I was in college. I will try to keep a list of my WIPs in my side-bar, but I have to find them in the stash first. I hope to organize my stash as part of this challenge. But my main goal this year is to get a few major projects done. I like doing cross-stitch, needlepoint and embroidery. Maybe that is why I have so many WIPS in the first place.
