Another Pear!

 So I finally finished my second pear. It's a little chunky but I still love it.

I really want to stitch the apple sometime this year.

My Second Try

 I decided to make another leaf. This one is larger and I think the color works better.

The vine in the larger leaf is brown.

I loved making these! I know that I will be making the apple from Inspirations Magazine and making another leaf.

I don't think this one the wrong color for my pear, so I will make another one.

Moving Along

 I am on a roll with the pear. I added sparkle to three sections with Accentuate.

I'm now adding beads to the last three sections.

I need to make a leaf but I won't assemble this until November. I'll be stitching it with the Mississippi River Valley Chapter of EGA.

 I have started adding the sparkle to my second pear. I'm using Accentuate #257

 I just watched Brenda over at Handwork Maniac on Flosstube. She has an interesting way to do Maynia. I won't be able to explain it well, so go watch her!

Anyway, I thought I would try to post daily one of the projects I am stitching. I usually stitch on 2 or three pieces daily. My goal this month is to finish one so I can start something new. We will see.

I need to decide what to put in the center. Beads? Sparkly threads.

 I'm not sure I like the metallic thread I'm using. It's DMC gold thread. I think I will rip it out and find something else.

I am in love! Using Silk gimp and a metal thread to make the leaf for the Limonera Pear-Christine Burton.

A new Month

 Well, I finished stitching on the Limonera Pear-Christine Burton. I now need to assemble it 

I got the beads attached.

I have pulled Janette Kirkland -Queenstown Sampler Designs out.

I have decided to leave off the alphabets and then make it into a drum.

A New Project for February

 I have wanted to start this project since it came out in the Inspirations Book. This is the Limonera Pear by Christine Burton.

I'm stitching it on Merlot by BestitchMe fabric and DMC 4516.
