Gifted Gorgeousness for August 2021

 Well, it is time for the SAL where we post our progress on things that are gifts, going to be gifts and/or were a gift... It is the brainchild of the wonder Jo from   Serendipitous Stitching    .

I have been plugging away at Agnus Dei.

I also made a peach pie for my my mother-in-law;

It was pretty good. I prefer jam to pie so I will be canning some soon.

Wow Angus Dei is fabulous! The combination of colors you are using are stunning...I just love the color of the fabric and the stitching is flawless. The pie looks yummy....lucky Mother in law!!

Agnus Dei is amazing. I can see the love in those stitches. Your pie looked very tempting too. When I was a child our neighbour had a prolifically bearing peach tree, and peach pies were often on the table, but it must be 50 years sonce I last tasted one. Your post brought memories flooding back. Thank you!

Thanks for taking part in GG this month. Agnus Dei is coming along nicely. The pie looks delicious but I do like a crumble with custard too!
