A Finish!

I was able to fully finish my little needle rolls from Brenda Gervais.

I took them to a guild meeting and we decided they would be great bookmarks. Now I have a gift for a certain someone!

I Have to do Some Finishing

First, just to let everyone know, that penguin was stitched by my son when he was about 9 or 10. He is currently 23 and working on his PhD in electrical engineer. He no longer stitching but maybe some day.

Anyway, I was so excited when I put the last stitches in this last night:
The top one is done with PR126 Silks4u. The bottom one was done with Dinky Dyes Warratah.
Now I need to get them fully finished. I have an idea on what to do with the extra one. I would love to have them finished this month.

IHSW for January

This past weekend was the third weekend of the month and it was time to Hermit and Stitch! Our sweet Jo    host this and you can find more enablers on Facebook if you so desire. Click the link and she will explain it better than I can.
Here is what I worked on this weekend:
I am slowly working on MH 1656. I had to rip  out some satin stitch as I didn't like the color I used.
 L. Genders is close to being done, or at least one is almost done.
And here is a bit of a secret stitch.
What did you stitch this weekend?

A Little Bit of Red

I was able to get a little stitching done on this piece last week.
A friend said I could have done another whole band....I kind of wish I had in a totally different color-blue, purple, orange?

More Little Red Sampler

I find this project very addicting. I take it with me places and stitch on it when I am too tired to stitch on other things. I think it is 36 count. Love seeing it develop. I even have at least one spool to display one of them on.

Red Sampler

I do like working on this. Wish I remembered what the fabric was...
I am stitching it twice as I feel like there is plenty of room on the fabric. I know I have some spools in the basement that I think will make a great display.

A New Start

I finally caved and started a new project. It is a red sampler and all I want to stitch.
I am using fabric that the shop put in the kit for me and Silk4u PR 126. I love it!
