 Well, it's the weekend we're supposed to hermit and stitch. But it's tax time here so we shall see what stitching gets done.

 My local needlepoint guild has a challenge. You set your own challenge and shared it with the guild. I said I would finish six pages of Christian Henry by Sassafras Samplers and a panel on Harmony of Nature Casket.

I'm done with the challenge for Christian Henry:

January WIPocalypse Check In

 Melissa's question is what is your oldest WIP in your stash.

Mine is definitely Venetian Delight by Ro Pace. This is what it should look like if I would ever finish it:

 I know why I haven't touched it. I don't like that it requires two pieces of canvas.  I doubt I will touch it this year, but I do plan to work on another old WIP, MH 1656 by Hands Across the Sea:

I need to do some ripping and finish the last third, but it is too pretty to abandon.

Hopefully I can FOCUS in February and get my WIP list down. But I am thinking about another start....

 Well, I have some progress on my Harmony of Nature casket :

Adding the Detached Bits

 I'm trying to work on my Harmony of Nature Casket but have been struggling. My needlelace leaves something to be desired. But I would rather have an imperfect piece than all the threads and box sitting around after I die.😂

 Well, I managed to get some stitching done.

IHSW May 2024-End of Weekend

 Well, I was able to make progress on several things. 

The 17th Century Whitework Sampler has a mistake that I will take care of next time I work on it.

April is done on No Time Like the Present 

And I did some needle lace for my Cabinet of Curiosity

 Well, I have been a fairly monogamous stitcher for the month of May. Which is why those two pockets got stitched! Here are my photos of things I think I will work on this weekend, although I may just stick with one....

None are close to a finish so it is hard to decide what to stitch.

Lesson One is Almost Done

 I finished the last hill except for getting threads buried.

A Little Work on Harmony of Nature

 I spent several hours trying to figure out how to make little loops with this gimp.

I ripped it out.

I tried again after I got over being mad.

Another Hill is Conquered

 I finally managed to finish the queen stitch on my Cabinet of Curiosity.

One more hill to stitch and then I can start lesson 2.
