Dawn to Dusk Done?

 I think I am done with Dawn to Dusk. The design calls for another border, but I like it this way.

It looks so much better in person!

 Well, I managed to get some stitching done.

 I am almost ready to add beads to my motifs. 

Then I need to finish the border.

To Rip or Not to Rip

 

If you look closely, the Jessica's are not correct. I will have to rip them out because they bother me. 

Working on the Border

 Dawn to Dusk is a large piece so I decided to get a layer done on the border.

I'm trying not to do the motifs because I know I will abandon the project if they get done!

September 2024 IHSW

 Well, I managed to finish No Time Like the Present by Modern Folk Embroidery.

Then I moved on to my Bargello GCC -

Since I finished the lesson I moved to Dawn to Dusk 

I finished two motifs so I pulled out Alice Ellen Usher (are you catching a theme?)

Wow! She is a big girl!

Then a friend reminded me I needed to get the pre-work done for Africana 

So I started it. Look at the threads!

I need to concentrate on something so I can get another finish!

Start of Sampler September

 I want to show my calendar for August.

And I have decided to stitch on No Time Like the Present by Modern Folk Embroidery until I get it done or I can't stand it anymore.

If I need to switch off, I will work on Dawn to Dusk.

Beading is Done

 Well, at least in the brocade.

I used the Bead Buddy that a friend gave me and it helped a lot.  I also started another motif. I'm thinking about taking it out. It needs something.

A Bit of Sparkle

 I finished another brocade section. Can I finish the other two before the end of August?

 I was able to get a little bit done.

Decisions, decisions

 

I'm trying to decide what color to use on my borders. The reds look good close up but not when viewed from a far. I will have to play with it tomorrow.

Another Motif!

 Well, I was able to get another motif done on Dawn to Dusk .

I ripped out the silver as it didn't work in person.

You can't see the red in the buttonhole stitch corners too well, but it looks good in person.

 IHSW was last weekend.

 I had fun stitching with some friends on Zoom. I should be done with the outlines soon and can start the motifs. Cannot wait!

 I got one more layer done on the brocade.

Busy!

 I thought I would get all the silver done on the Dawn to Dusk brocade. Ha!

But I am halfway through!

Plans for June

 I managed to get one more layer done on Dawn to Dusk. I hope to get the next layer done in June.

I have started the May assignment on MFE. Hopefully I can get it done in June.

I also hope to finish my wool eyeglass case and get some more work done on my HAED. We will see.

One Layer Done

 I am finished with the first layer on the brocade for Dawn to Dusk.
