A True Finish

I don't remember when I finished stitching this....was it 2020? Anyway, I finally found a frame and my husband finished it for me.

Enchanted Pumpkin by Mill Hill:

Now once I saw it finished, I thought "Don't I have another pumpkin design?" Sure enough, I do! Are you surprised?

But then I reminded myself of all the projects on my to do list....But I think this will be on my list for 2023.

Trick or Treat Blog Hop

 Welcome to Serendipitous Stitching

has an annual blog hop every Halloween. Start at the link above and follow the links to make a phrase.

We are supposed to post a photo of something spooky we have stitched. I had hoped to have this piece framed before today, but no such luck. But this is all I have to share this year. (I will try to do better next year!)

Then you need your letter for the phrase!

WIPocalpse for September

This will be brief, but I had to share some progress:

 Well, actually, finishes:

Enchanted Pumpkin by Mill Hill is stitched

And I started and finished Octokafe by Avlea Modern Folk Embroidery!

Are question by the lovely Melissa this month is:

Are you a seasonal stitcher, or can you stitch on any holiday/seasonal stitch at any time of year?

I normally am fairly seasonal. I am so in the mood for some fall stitching it is crazy. Maybe that is why my bead kit got finished!

Can I finish by October?

I am so close to finishing this, that it would be a shame if I let it linger another year...

It needs the black floss and beads. It is the beads that will take the most time...

A Little Cross Stitch

I always forget how crazy August and September are with having a garden.  So I decided to focus on finishing this piece:

It has been my carry along with me piece, but I am ready to get it finished.

I won't only be working on it, but I will be stitching on it daily to move it forward.

Did You Buy Anything From Nashville Market?

I have restrained myself so far. I will wait for the craziness of Market to die down and then I will make a few purchases. My list is relatively short, which is good. I have PLENTY to stitch!
I forgot about this little piece until I had to sit at the doctor's office with my  husband. (No big issues, just a quick visit.)
I have a long way to go on this piece, but I do like it. I'm trying not to buy any more Mill Hill Kits although I find them so addicting!

Because I'm Not The Brightest

I knew I was going to start Enchanted Pumpkin this year from Mill Hill but I wasn't sure when. I was looking for a project to take on a road trip and thought it would make a great piece to take. Then I realized it was full coverage. Did you all know that? Like a fool, I still decided to start it:
Two things I did wrong: I started with the black and some of it migrated over to the light orange. NOT picking it out! Then I signed this piece up for Full-Coverage Fanatics on Facebook. Not a big deal except I need to finish it before I can stitch on Reptiles for that group. Or maybe I could figure something else out...
Anyway, a new start, just what I needed....

Plans Starting to Form for 2020

Thanks to everyone who commented yesterday on my Halloween Blog Post. It is always fun to read other blogs and to read comments.
Enchanted Pumpkin was the winner for my Halloween start in 2020.
I have to admit, it is the one I wanted to do anyway.

But even as I posted the question yesterday, I had to question my sanity. I do have a few other WIPs (cough, cough) that need to be stitched. I can only work on so many at a time. Well, I can only work on one at a time but I mean, rotate through my projects.
Sigh. I should finish a WIP before I start a new project. How many can I get done before the start of 2020?
Are any of you starting to plan for 2020?

Halloween Blog Hop

Well, we are under a SNOW warning here and a lot of places are cancelling or postponing Trick or Treat. But not Jo over at   Serendipitous Stitching   ! She is hosting a Blog Hop where we try to find a phrase and post it back on her site. (Go read her blog post as she explains herself better than I do!)
I was not going to participate as I did not think I had anything to share.
I had already posted my Halloween finishes:
What to share? Then I realized I had purchased TWO new Mill Hill Bead kits! (We will not discuss my obsession with Mill Hill Bead kits.) So why don't you help me decide which one to start for 2020?
 White Pumpkins?

    Or Enchanted Pumpkin?

Oh! Your letter from my blog is
                                W

And your next letter will be at:

Good luck and have a piece of candy with me today!
