This band on the Phoenix Band Sampler by Northern Expressions Needlework took 5 stitching days. This piece is gorgeous and I want to start the next band...
Poppers is fun to stitch. Part of me thinks I should have done the original colorway. The other part of me is saying - just keep playing!
Well, it's the weekend we're supposed to hermit and stitch. But it's tax time here so we shall see what stitching gets done.
Winter Sampler -Birds of a Feather
Poppers by Kathy ReesWell, I was more than surprised to receive this package in the mail from the previous president of the Tudor Rose Sampler Guild:
A beautiful engraved needle box, a needle minder and a pin. I'm currently serving as workshop chair for the guild but didn't expect anything for serving. What a wonderful gift!
I should be finishing up the needle book but I don't have the brain space. So a few more squares of Poppers.
This was an old pattern from ANG that I started last March. It was a class from the Cyberpointers ANG chapter . Carol Algie Higginbotham was the designer.
I'm working on three pieces that have similar colors.

Phoenix Band Sampler and a scissors case:
This project was started March 2025:
I pulled it back out and counted the center incorrectly. It would be nice to have this finished in March of 2026.
I was able to get a little bit done on a few things:
Kim is having a sale on charts and I made a few purchases. Check out the sales at Sassy Jack's...
I got Rusty Rhapsody by Rosewood Manor and Modern Folk Embroidery Tjeerdje and Geertje. They have been on my wishlist for a while. And I finally broke down and got the threads for the Britamar sampler. I have an idea for them...
This is the weekend to hermit and stitch. Here are my projects for the weekend:

Poppers:My local needlepoint guild has a challenge. You set your own challenge and shared it with the guild. I said I would finish six pages of Christian Henry by Sassafras Samplers and a panel on Harmony of Nature Casket.
I'm done with the challenge for Christian Henry:
In fact, I have almost finished the sampler!
Harmony of Nature, well...
Hopefully I will return to it soon.Melissa's question is what is your oldest WIP in your stash.
Mine is definitely Venetian Delight by Ro Pace. This is what it should look like if I would ever finish it:

I fully finished my blessing sampler-SA Marsham by Sassafras Samplers:
And I have made serious progress on Christian Henry by Sassafras Samplers:
