A Start and Finish

 I'm a member of the Tudor Rose Sampler Guild and this little scissors fob was a program.

I forgot how much I enjoy beading. 

Beading is Done

 Well, at least in the brocade.

I used the Bead Buddy that a friend gave me and it helped a lot.  I also started another motif. I'm thinking about taking it out. It needs something.

A Bit of Sparkle

 I finished another brocade section. Can I finish the other two before the end of August?

I Love This Project!

 I am trying to get this completed this year.

I need to get the other squirrel done but I had to start the stag.

Avlea Center

 I managed to finish the center of my Avlea Baltic Easter Basket.

IHSW is Over

 I was able to get a little bit done.

Gifted Gorgeousness August 2024

 I have been lax on posting for this SAL. 

But I received these lovely stitched gifts while at Sassy Jacks with FiberTalk. The hardanger scissors case was made by Robin and the scissors fob was from Jenifer. I finally got my act together and dug out a pair of scissors for the set. What a wonderful gift!

Decisions, decisions

 

I'm trying to decide what color to use on my borders. The reds look good close up but not when viewed from a far. I will have to play with it tomorrow.

Another Motif!

 Well, I was able to get another motif done on Dawn to Dusk .

I ripped out the silver as it didn't work in person.

You can't see the red in the buttonhole stitch corners too well, but it looks good in person.

July is Done

 

This is such an enjoyable stitch. No Time Like the Present by Modern Folk Embroidery.

Follow the Pattern

 So I thought this Avlea would be the perfect project for taking to family events. Two colors. Simple design. 30 count fabric.

But I didn't follow the pattern.

 I thought my brain could flip the bottom swirl and stitch it. I did stitch it. Incorrectly. Oh well. Note to self: make a copy and grab an extra magnet to have motif close so I can follow it
