Fixing a Mistake

I am trying to fix my mistake on the Drawn Thread Sampler.  I cut two threads, not one. Thank goodness they need to be cut anyway, but I need to fix it so I can put the buttonhole back in and the 4-sided stitch in. It takes lots of light and patience, both in short supply around here.  I really want to pull up a new project and ignore this one.  But I know I will love this piece once I get this section fixed.

Drawn work is still on my list of things to try some day. I love seeing your work. I hope your fix goes quickly so you can enjoy the journey again soon!

Oh no! How very annoying. I am always worried when I have to cut threads. Hope you fix it nicely and can continue on.

For me, personally, I find it's better to do the not-so-fun stuff (ripping, reweaving a cut thread) right away. Then I can put the project aside, and I'll be much more likely to pick it up again when the time comes. Good luck with your fix! I know it will turn out lovely.
