Costumed Kitty-Finished

I knew that I would get this done quickly, but I was surprised by the ease with which this stitched up.  It is a Mill Hill bead kit that finishes as a little box.   It was one of  my Crazy January Challenges!  Does that make 4 or 5 finishes?  Yeah! 

Softly Feathered-Finished

I need to send this out to be critiqued, but it is done for now.  It was supposed to have some more Hilton stitches along the feathers, but I like the flow of the feathers as they are.  I need to do some sort of background stitch, but not until it comes back from Carol.  If you have this one in your stash, it is a great learning piece.  I highly recommend it!
I will be busy the next few weeks as my boys are building a cardboard boat.  I think I will stick to some of my smaller projects while they are keeping me busy.

Winter Woods-12 Stitches a Day

Well, here is my progress on Winter Woods.  Some days I do more than 12 stitches and a few days I wasn't able to stitch at all.  But it is moving forward and I can see the beginnings of a tree.  Can you?
Softly Feathered is due next week.  I will take a picture before I mail it off.

Jean Hilton Stitches

I forgot to rotate this before I posted...So sorry!  I have been stitching although I haven't posted in a bit.  As you can see Softly Feathered is almost done.  A few more Jean Hilton stitches down the center, a few beads and off she goes to be critiqued.  Then I must pull out Spring Splendor.  I am getting very behind on it.

I remember when Cynthia of Cyn Stitches stopped posting.  She said she could stitch or she could post.  Why?  Teenagers.  I thought, surely not.  I can post, stitch and deal with teenagers.  HA!  Pride goeth before the fall.  So if you don't hear from me for a bit, I am busy with a teenager.

Working on my Crazy Challenge

I realized that I will never get all 15 of my Crazy January Challenges done unless I do a little each day on some of them.  This is Winter Woods by Mill Hill.  The top picture is what I had done at the beginning of the challenge.  The bottom picture is how much I have done so far.  My goal is to put 12 stitches in a day and see what gets done at the end of a week.  Wish me luck!

All the Feathers

I finished my last feather last night.  I still have a little basketweave to do and then on to the Jean Hilton stitches and beads.  Yeah!  Especially since I need to get back to Spring Splendor which is sitting patiently in the corner.

Two More Feathers to Stitch

I was able to get a lot of stitching done this weekend.  I even made progress on the basketweave in the center.  Once the feathers get done, I will have to add some Jean Hilton stitches and some beads.

WIPocalypse Progress April

I am making some progress on Softly Feathered.  Time always seems to be in short supply.  Hopefully I will get some time to work on this today.  But the garden is calling and my DS needs me to go with to check on bees.  No progress on any other project, but when Softly is done....

A Finish!

This is my third finish this year.  It is the Noel Heart by Mill Hill.  It is my oldest's Christmas ornament for 2011.  I am ahead of myself this year!  Now back to Softly Feathered.
