Crazy Quilt Round Robin

I finished working on my section of this crazy quilt.  The dragonfly came out ok.  I would fix him, but I am not sure how.  His body isn't as pink as it looks on my screen. It needs to be shipped out next week and then I receive someones square.  Fun!

WIP- A little stitching

It has been a bit since I posted.  My dd is taking driver's ed and it is taking a lot of my time too! I gave up starting more pieces although I will be starting at least two, maybe three more projects this month.  But all those starts were getting to me.  I can't imagine starting a new one each day for a year!  I am trying to finish this Mill Hill bead kit.  I work on it a little every evening.  Tomorrow I will show you a finish,kind of.

Two Finishes and Some Starts

I finally finished Heirloom Stitching Sampler.  I took these terrible pictures so I could run it to the framer.

 This little owl was started January 26 and finished the 27th.  I cannot find the designer in my mess, but I used it to teach some high school teens how to stitch.

I ended up ordering AW 1662 with floss and it came in very quickly.  It is my start(cough,cough) for January 27.
The last piece is Reptiles by Escher which is a Heaven and Earth Designs.  I am going to start basting the grid on it today.

Day 25-Ann Lawle Sampler

I ordered this in anticipating that I would have finished Heirloom Stitching Sampler by now, but I have a bit more to do on it.  I cannot start another sampler until I get the Heirloom one done!  But now I have no urge to stitch this one, but want to get this one .  I may just order it as I love it and want to stitch it. 

Day 24-The First Christmas Stocking

I have not put needle to fabric on this, but I am the only one in my family without a stocking.  I hope to change that this year.  Ha!

Days 21, 22, and 23 of Craziness

I am behind on posting, but here are my "starts" which are really WIP's.

This is actually my son's Candy Swirl Santa by Janet Zickler Casey.The hat is a bear to do.  As he stopped working on it when he was 11 or 12 and he is in college now,I figured I should finish it.

 This is my Illinois canvas.  It is close to being done so  it is back into my rotation.

 Next is O'Star of Wonder.  I think I made a huge mistake on it.  I think all the stitching I started has to come out.  Sigh.  I will double check, but I think I oriented the fabric incorrectly. Will keep you posted.

Days 19 and 20-More Mill Hill

 I have loved this Sugar Skull kit since I first saw it.  I think it will make a nice gift for one of my sisters.

This Mill Hill bead kit has been in my stash for years.  I think I never did it as it has more beading than cross stitch.  But maybe it can inspire me for the crazy quilt round robin that I posted the other day!
