People's Choice SAL

Well, it is the first Saturday of the month and it is time to post
Jo over at  Serendipitous Stitching host this and this month's topic is cats.
Have you seen the new design by Plum Street Samplers called Clementine?

 Image may contain: text
It looks like our kitty and I may have to stitch this one.
I have a finish to share! And it has a cat in it too...
I had this stitched a bit ago and finally took the time to pop it in the frame. I need to pull another of the kits out to get another one done.
Have a great weekend!

Mill Hill Finish

I settled down with my needle and beads and got this thing done!
It needs a wash and a press, but it is stitched. I will place it with the pile of shame. I so need to get some stuff FFOed...

Christmas Eve and I am Working on...

FALL! It is my Mill Hill project and I wanted to share it with you.
I am making some progress as I have finished using all of the beads in one package. After I get the tree done, I can work on the last package of beads. Oh so close, but oh so far away.

Mill Hill Monday

I have made a little progress so I thought I would show it. This is where you saw it last:

 And here it is now:
It is fun, but there are a ton of beads! And I am ready for something Christmasy!

Welcome Progress

I was able to get all the stitching done on Welcome and I even added glow in the dark Kreinik blending filament on the ghost.
Now it is in my bedroom where I will try to stitch on it for 15 minutes every night and get the beads on. HA!
I was cleaning my craft room and trying to organize when I realized I do not have the January/February one of these kits. This is sad as I had planned on stitching it next. If you see one, please let me know. The official name for the series is Simply Seasonal Welcome. I did look on e-bay, but no luck. (Not that I don't have OTHER things to stitch!)

Hallowe'en Trick or Treat Blog Hop or My Epic Fail

Well, I am sad. I had grand expectations to be all prepared for this blog hop run by Jo over at
 Serendipitous Stitching .
She runs a lot of fun blog hops and it is a great way to get to know other bloggers. I do not do a lot of Halloween although I like fall colors and have enjoyed looking at all the interesting Halloween projects on the web.

Well, I told Jo I would do this hop and I thought I could quickly stitch up a project for Halloween. I do have a few in my stash after all.
I first thought I would stitch on this project:

It is Haunted House by Bent Creek and I received it as a gift from my local needle work store. Cute, but not my style.....
So I looked further in my stash and found this:
It is a Mill Hill Kit, and you KNOW how much I love Mill Hill kits!
I had even purchased a frame for it so I had a way to FFO it. I did not like the overdyed floss so I pulled a  Victorian Motto Sampler thread from my stash.
I knew I would not get the beads on the piece, but I thought I would get all the cross stitching done.

Until I finished the big pumpkin:
Sigh. I used the wrong orange and had to rip all of it out. I did think about leaving it, but the red did not blend well with the orange I had stitched.
So this is as far as I was able to stitch before I had to post:
It is a fun and easy stitch and I will keep going on it. I do have the rest of the series and once I get this done, I will skip ahead to the spring one.

I do plan on starting another new project-DON"T JUDGE ME! But not until November 1. It is my reward for washing windows, which I also plan on doing November 1.....
