A Few Smalls
Heather at Stitching Lotus hosts a Smalls SAL that is due the last Friday of every month. She has not posted every time, but does that really matter? We are all busy and life is crazy. This is a hobby for pete's sake! (Okay! Done ranting!) I am late too!
Here are the smalls I stitched earlier this month:
Not sure how I am going to FFO the Autumn Berries, but I do know I need to make a few more biscornu's. They are so much fun!
I also finished Black Swallowtail by Mill Hill. I have such a stack of things to FFO. HELP!
Since I have all these finishes, I can start a few new projects right? Never mind that Christmas Stocking needs to get done along with Drawn Thread Sampler.....

Finishes!!
I was able to completely finish this little biscornu.
Don't look too carefully as I am not a great finisher....
And Autumn Berries is totally stitched.
It was great fun and I was able to use my Victorian Motto Sampler Threads on it.
I have a huge stack of stuff to finish, and I hope to get to them before the end of the year.

Off the Grid Friday Night Stitching and IHSW
It is the weekend to stitch! Here is what I will be working on this weekend:
Autumn Berries from Punch Needle & Primitive Stitcher Magazine. I can't remember which issue, but here is the link for the magazine: http://www.pnpsmagazine.com/
I started pulling things to finish a project. Not sure what I will need exactly, so I pulled everything that I thought would work.
And the above the is what I will be finishing. I may have a small to show at the end of the month!
BTW, International Hermit and Stitching Weekend is from Random Ramblings
Friday Off the Grid is a from a Facebook group.

Birds?
This piece called for Onyx by Weeks Dye Works but I was using Slate Roof from Victorian Motto Sampler Threads. That is the middle bird and the little bit to the left. But I thought it might too brown so I tried Smoke from Crescent Colours which is the bird to the right.
What do you think? I can't really tell the difference. So I stitched some more...
I don't like it. I think I need to find some black and use it. They just look too brown.

New Start
I REALLY don't need a new project. I REALLY should finish something. But we are traveling today and I wanted something new to stitch. Not sure I will even put a stitch in this piece, but I pulled the threads.
The fabric is linen I dyed for Tall Year Square-36 count?-and the threads are all from Victorian Motto . I pulled more threads than needed because I changed the threads and the ground fabric. I am not sure what will work so I always pull extra. ALWAYS! Hopefully there will be some progress to show next week.
