Small Stitch a Long

I am so glad to be part of this SAL. I feel like I get a little something done each month... Thanks so much Heather at Stitching Lotus
Here is my finish. The crow button still needs to be added, but it will be perfect as a card this fall.

For those of you who are wondering....I don't have time to do my stash diet this month. Is the reason because I binged? Sigh. Maybe, but I must get taxes done and get some work done for my local guild. That is my excuse and I am sticking to it. I PLAN on fessing up, but it won't be until April.  Stay tuned.

Also, I think I am close to 900 posts. Maybe I should do a give-a-way or something. Hmmmm Any suggestions?
 

Reptiles

I do not give this piece much time. I tried to work on it the other night, but the cat thinks that I want to play with him when I sit in my stitching chair. What is up with that?

I Made a Mistake

I made a mistake but I am leaving it as it is. Why? One reason is I can't find it. The other is that I don't think it will matter in this little piece. But I also realized that I am missing a thread. That I need to find!

Ok, I did ask if I could have it as my son wasn't using it. This needlecase was made by my DS as was the scissors fob. He did a great job of adding magnets to keep the scissors in place and another pair to keep it closed. See why I NEEDED it? Yep, he is studying to be an engineer. The scissors stink though so I may need to replace them.

First Christmas Stocking Angel

Not much and it won't be done this year, but at least it is getting a little attention each month.

New Threads

I ordered some threads for my guild as prizes and was very naughty and got some for myself. How could I not when http://colourcomplements.com/ has such lovely threads and choices. Now if she would just send me extra stitching time....
No, I am not sure what I will use these for, but I am sure there is a project in the basement that needs these threads.

Very Little Stitching

I am working on a pilot class for ANG. It is fabulous and reminds me why I belong to several guilds. BUT I cannot show it to you. So sad. It also needs to be done before April 1 and I just started it last week. Thank goodness it is small.  Because I decided to work it on black canvas, I can't take it with me so I worked on this piece while attending my local guild meeting yesterday.

Since that is the only day I have worked on it, there isn't much progress. But some progress is better than no progress.

Gifted Gorgeousness March- North Pole

 I left off with the above photo in February and here is where I ended...

I am working on all the leaves before I get to the white so I am guessing my progress will slow down. Although I do get to put the hat in soon!

Malachite and Pearls Heart Start

This heart has been lurking in my stash for quite a while, so I decided to pull it out and stitch it. I think the Imperial Hearts are lovely and I want to get to one of them this year too....

Spirit Of Jean-Finished

I did the last of this while watching the end of Victoria. Sad to see the end of the season and the end of this piece. Now on to my pilot class! (Where did I put those instructions?)

Halloween in March

A friend gave me this kit and I just had to work on it. I think I will be able to get it done before the 15th for Gifted Gorgeousness.....Or at least for the Smalls SAL.

Gay Ann Rogers Challenge

 The photo above was taken January 30. Has it been that long since I worked on this?

I was trying to get some of the 4 sided stitch in, but made a mistake and needed to rip.
Gay Ann Rogers is challenging us to stitch a little each day on one of her pieces. This is the one I have to work on currently, but it needs an hour at a time. Some times that is difficult to find. I MAY have to frame up a heart....

I think it looks nice, but this took forever! Now I can do the border which is much more fun.
