Crazy Quilt

This is the round robin crazy quilt that I have been working on.  I need some suggestions. I need to do a least one more motif in a section and another seam....

Maybe some hand embroidery in the upper right and lower left. Something small like vines. Using the feather stitch?

Love the basket! Pretty colors too.

You could duplicate the beautiful rose/ swirl down that long seam. Or, maybe do a rose cluster in the upper right corner to bring that shade of pink around the block. I love the beaded seam. Very pretty.

Beth, this is such a lovely block! I love the way you pulled some of the green into the upper-left to help balance out the lower-right.

The rose you added to the long white seam is lovely. I would probably add another to the lower section of that long seam. (If someone else finishes that seam, it may not flow as consistently and the rose above the basket is lovely.)

For your last seam, one idea would be to add a small stitched butterfly (or dragonfly?) on the seam above the basket Beth stitched. With the rose and pretty blue flower, a little butterfly would fit right in.

For the motif, the vines of flowers others have suggested would be pretty. A few other ideas that came to mind are: One of the smaller sections could be perfect for a small spider web (if the block owner likes spiders. My eye is drawn to the mauve fabric beneath the basket. If a web were added there and then a second rose were added to that long white seam, the rose would dress up the web.) A spray of bullion roses would be lovely. A heart (stitched or lace) would also be lovely.

There are so many possibilities! I am eager to see what you create. Beautiful work.

Oops! Heather stitched the pretty basket. I said Beth. Sorry about that! I also forgot to mention how well your work blends in with the work Heather has done. Great job!

Thanks for all the suggestions. I will have to look through my stash and see what I can come up with.
