Return to the Townhouse

I have started working on my Gay Ann Roger's Townhouse again. Class ends this week and I have not made much progress. And as can be seen by the picture, I need to do some reverse stitching.... I already had to redo the door. Sigh.

Well, I finally finished the piece for my friend. I will try to post a picture of it soon. No points given for it since I had to buy threads and fabric to do it. I did use a pattern I have owned for ages...Does that count?

Like a crazy woman, I plan on dying threads tomorrow. Have I finished with the threads I have already dyed? NO! Do I know what I am going to do with these? NO! Luckily my local librarians are joining me in this insanity....

Close to Being Done

I have been working on this cross stitch cross and am almost done. Hopefully I will finish this week and can work on something else!

A Little Further

Well, it isn't a whole lot more, but I have gotten a bit more done on my gift. I am tired of it, but hope to get a bunch done this weekend. After all, I have a ton of other projects to finish.

New Project

I do not like to admit it, but I have started another project. No, I did not finish anything yet. My excuse is a friend is moving and this piece must be completed before she leaves. I changed the colors to include her favorites. The pattern is a Leisure Arts Leaflet, America's Best Loved Hymns by Sandy Orion.

Doodle "Happy Easter"

It has been forever since I posted. i am stitching, I just haven't finished anything. Well, that is not exactly true. I did finish this little Easter egg:
It is called a Doodles for Leftovers and came with this cute little button. I have two more in my stash to do. What I like about them is that you can use your leftover threads. Great for stash reduction!

Christmas in March

I finally decided that I am not a finisher. I do not like to put the finishing touches on projects. It makes me frustrated and I never feel like I do a very good job. I am jealous of all you ladies out there who finish your own work. Yes, it would be less expensive if I learned to do it myself, but I don't have the time and I don't like my mistakes.

That being said, here are a few things I got back from the finisher:
Janet Zickler Casey's Snow Cone Santa Mill Hill's Crescent Santa
Lizzie Kate's Clara O'Hare

I put the Christmas ornaments away for the year, but Clara is sitting out in the living room , waiting for Easter.

A Little Solar Flare Progress

I have finished another round of cells. It doesn't look like much, does it? I love watching this piece develop. I can't wait until I start adding the reds.
