I finished this today. Need to work on my other projects.

Bee Progress

Jo at Serendipitous Stitching posted a picture of Gathering Honey so I thought I should show my progress on Busy Bee.

It is very close to being done. Not sure what I will do with it when it is finished, but at least it will be off my to do list!

This needs some beads in the center of the flower and my daughter thinks it needs some more bling. Makes me want to pull a different wool project out.

More Starburst

Working on my bargello a little bit. Not sure which blue I prefer, but I do like the less bright white. It is a fun piece to work on.

True to Life-Starburst

I changed my white to an off-white and I like it better. The light blue is blueberry which I like as I think the dark blue is too "heavy." Wish I had more time to play with this, but life is getting in the way.

More Bargello

Well, here is my piece right now. I think the blue is too dark or the white is too white....Now what? Do I rip? Do I ignore? Do I send this piece to the basement to live?

I Have Trouble with Bargello

First, thank you for all the lovely comments on my last finish. It is always nice to receive comments.

Cyberpointers the online chapter of ANG is having an online meeting and Starburst by Patricia Hartman is being taught. I love how bargello looks so I thought I would frame up and try this technique once again. First, I stitched the white lines incorrectly and had to frog them. Not good on congress cloth. Then I put the dark blue in and thought "Yuck!"But rather than rip, I think I will pull a red DMC and do the first stitch again in the blank spots. And if I really hate it and it continues to frustrate me, I may just put the whole thing back in the basement until I can give it more time.

Gloria's Finished

I know she has a few mistakes, but she is stitched. Once I get Joseph done, I can do the backs and have them ready for my Christmas tree.

I really want to start a new project, but am resisting until I get at least one project done! This one is probably the closest to being finished and is calling to me anyway.
