I am almost finished with this little painted canvas. I think I will use it for a book cover. Will try to post a picture when it is done.

Pam's Crazy Quilt
I forgot to take a photo before I started working on this block. It is a lovely block and the ladies have done an excellent job on it. I am the last person working on it and am currently adding a dragonfly to the upper left corner.
The square needs more flowers and maybe another insect. Or two! I will try to take a photo when I am done.

Gay Ann Rogers is Back!
In honor of her return I was going to start a new heart. But then I remembered that I have two of her drawn thread samplers started. She discusses them on her webpage when she discusses pearl cotton. Mine is being worked on linen and coton a broder. Both are DMC threads but the stuff I am using is softer. I wish I had stuck with congress cloth and the pearl cotton on this piece, which is how Gay Ann originally stitched it. The congress cloth is easier for me to see and I like the definition the pearl cotton gives. Oh well, I am not starting this piece again.

Small Progress on Reptiles
I'm slowly working on this project. I love working on it, but can only do a little bit every night. Some nights I miss. This is going to take years.

Reflections on Blogging From A to Z
I enjoyed doing the A to Z Challenge. It showed me that I have way too much stash. I think I need to do a stash diet or a use it or lose it challenge. Hmmm. But it was fun to try to blog every day although I never reply to comments. There is only so many hours in the day and I need spend a little time stitching...

Counting
If I could count, I would not be in this dilemma. I was moving along on my large Drawn Thread Sampler when I discovered I was off count. WAY off count! It is easy to fix. I just need to rip out the rows above all those squares and redo them. Well, not the very top row as I can fix them. I have to rip the others out because they are padded stitches. Will I never learn that I must always COUNT!
