Adding Beads

I added some beads to my heart although I am not done stitching.  I wanted to see how they looked.  I still am thinking about the center, but am unsure what to do.  I do know that I have plenty of beads!  (I looked at my stash.)  Well, back to housework.  Hopefully I will get some stitching time tonight.

Adding Purl

I had some issues over the past week.  Did lots of reverse stitching and busy with teens.  Can you tell I am in a hurry?  Anyway, I am getting closer and if all goes well, I should be done next week with the lilies and have started the butterfly.  Depends on what the gang has planned for me...

Art Deco Heart

My friend says this looks very art deco.  Maybe that is what I should call it...Art Deco Heart.  Still have no clue as to the center.  Beads for sure, but I haven't searched the stash yet.  Need to before dd does and cleans!

Elizabeth I is back on track.  Hopefully I will be able to stitch the face correctly this time.  Third time is the charm! 

Lots of Lilies

I decided to get as many of the lily of the valley flowers done as possible.  The stem isn't too bad except for losing the twist and burying the thread.  I like how it looks when done too.  This is getting close to being done!

My GAR Elizabeth portrait is in limbo.  Why?  I made a huge mistake on the face and am ripping it out. Sigh.  I will try to post a picture of my Pink Heart which I have made progress on tomorrow.

Heart in Pink

I made a mistake in counting and so my pink heart will be a little more different than the original.Or should I say, more uniquely mine.  I am not sure what I will do in the center.  I think the pink will be too much for it.  Maybe a big focal bead?

Getting Closer!

I spent most of today with a friend and I managed to get another stem full of lilies.  I may work on the stem tonight although my pink  heart is calling me.  I am almost done with Elizabeth's face too!  Hopefully I will be able to show a picture of her soon.

Heart Finished

 Love and Friends Heart by Gay Ann Rogers was lots of fun.  I could not put it down.  So I decided to pull some pink congress cloth(I have at least a yard) and some colors that I thought would work.

I did not have any #12 perle cotton in the right color, but a friend from guild had this ball of Anchor.  I also pulled some gold Kreinik if I need it. Not sure what I will put in the center.  If these colors work, I will have to go through my beads.  I have tons of seed beads and I think I can make them work.

I managed to finish the stems on my tulips for Spring Splendor.  Hope to get the lilies done soon.

Heart Progress

I finished all the basketweave and did all the stitching on both sides.  There is only a little to do on the very top and then I need to stitch the bottom designs.  I was in my basement and pulled some threads to do this design again on pink congress cloth.  Hopefully I will be able to find some beads or something to place in the center.
