This is still not reversible, but I keep plugging along.
It took a lot longer than I thought it would especially since I ripped out a section of satin stitch and some of the blackwork. I also had to stitch the bottom row three times before I got it right.
The next band is also complicated, but I don't need to start it until February. I hope to get some finishing done before the end of January, so this is being put away for now.
