Well, actually I have two starts.I couldn't help myself and started this small from Primrose Cottage -Red, White and Blue
Started May 24
Need to finish it soon!
I always have a project for traveling. Or simple stitching if I am waiting or talking a lot! 🤣
Right now it's this Avlea project, Tilos Primrose:
I think my counting is ok despite the marking lines being off. I will move up the right side and see what happens.
I started Fanny Johns on the fabric in the kit. But I kept thinking about it on a black/dark fabric.
Here's as far as I got:
Then I decided to put it on Dirty Chalkboard by BeStitchMe:Love! I am enjoying working on it.This is Melissa's brain child and I just tag along for the fun of it 😂
Question for April - what is your oldest WIP? Mine is Venetian Delight by Ro Pace . I have a picture of it somewhere...
I have worked on a lot of things in April. The bad thing was I started two big projects! What was I thinking?
North Carolina Sampler by Northern Expressions Needlework.
And Fanny Johns by the Wishing Thorn
Phoenix Band Sampler is moving forwardI spent the day with my local EGA and made progress on Poppers by Kathy Rees.
I didn't take any pictures of the stitching going on around me. But take my word for it!Tudor Rose Sampler Guild had Birgit Tolman of the Wishing Thorn teach an online workshop.
So another new start! 40 count coffee stain linen by Cedar River with Crescent Colorworks Belle Soie.
Poppers by Kathy Rees
But I did. I started the North Carolina Sampler by Heart's Ease Exampler Works.
60 pages of beautiful charts . I am using 37 count Russian Tea Cake and Vikki Clayton silks
Not much of a start, but that's okay.
This band on the Phoenix Band Sampler by Northern Expressions Needlework took 5 stitching days. This piece is gorgeous and I want to start the next band...
Poppers is fun to stitch. Part of me thinks I should have done the original colorway. The other part of me is saying - just keep playing!
Well, it's the weekend we're supposed to hermit and stitch. But it's tax time here so we shall see what stitching gets done.
