Third Layer on Hat

I love working on this.  All the layers on the hat are fun to stitch.  I need to get Heirloom Stitching Sampler back out, but this is so much more relaxing.

Stitch from Stash September

Month: September
Spent:$35-threads for 2016 project
Earned:$12
Carryover:$71
Balance:$71+$12+$25-$35=$73

I was so excited that this only took a month to do from start to finish.  It will look great hanging on the 4th of July!  I gave myself $12 because of the size and all the specialty stitches.  It is needlepoint, but those little angel wings took forever!

Almost Done

I think I am half way through the background on this. It is easy except you have to be careful not to carry on the back of the canvas.

My Carry Along Project

I started this Stitch N Zip a while ago.  It is my go to project when I am too tired to work on something more complicated and when I need a carry along project.  Love all the fun colors!

Santa Progress

Not much done on my Santa, but at least his beard is in! I really want to have him done for Christmas!

Two Works in Progress

I can't believe it is already mid-September.  Where did the month go?  I have been busy gardening, canning and other summer activities.  Hopefully winter will hold off a bit longer although I have enjoyed the fall weather we have had recently.

I am leading my local EGA's year long project for 2016.  We are stitching ANG"s Stitch of the Month 2011 by Ro Pace. (I love her designs!) I stitched it once on congress cloth using some of my favorite colors.
I never finished that one.
But then I decided I needed to stitch it on 18 count canvas and to use colors that I normally don't stitch with.  Here is what I came up with:
I need to redo a few squares, but I like it.  Something to hang for the Fourth of July.  Hopefully I will get them both done before the end of the year.
