It's September 1!

Ok, I know most of you are doing Sampler September and I had really planned on doing that too. After all, I do have a sampler to finish... But my friend Cheryl

encouraged me to do Sewing September Challenge. Since I really don't sew, this is quite the challenge!

I decided to tackle Ariane Zurcher's

Rock Gardens: Japanese Rice Bag. Or at least, that is what I am calling it!

I am using some fabric that I dyed. My daughter's cat Gimpy is supervising. My plan is to stitch on it a little every day. Let's see how long that lasts!

By the way, if you haven't seen Ariane's YouTube Channel, I would highly recommend them. She is a left-handed stitcher and gives a lot of helpful hints.

Sewing is "a needle pulling thread", and yes you do that. Very well, I should add! I love love love the bag. Looking forward to seeing your progress.

I shall be watching your sewing challenge with interest! I don't really sew either, it's a very different skill to stitching. But I like to see what people make.

I'm not doing anything special for September, but I'll follow your progress with interest!
