Before I left for London, I realized I had too many projects in my rotation. I looked at them and decided I really wanted to have my Christmas stocking done this year. I figured if I worked on it every day, I might get it done before my birthday. Ha!
I think this is the last photo I showed on the blog. (I also post on Instagram, but that is another story...)
Here is where I am today:
I have made progress but I am so sick of the sand! I think I will work on something else this weekend. I am such a slow stitcher that I hate to stop, but I need a bit of a break!

The stocking looks great Beth. Nice progress. I hear ya about getting tired of working on only one piece.
Linda
It's looking super Beth, it can be hard going working on an area of the same colours, it will be a great piece so keep going!
What a fun game! Spot the differences between the two pictures... I think you are doing a fabulous job. You are a much faster stitcher than I will ever be. If you want to be done by your birthday, just change the date!!! January birthdays are nice.
I can see why that portion is tedious compared to the more interesting stuff further up!
Great progress, but I totally understand being tired of the sand! Yes, take a break so you'll want to go back to it to finish it.
I can see how you'd get tired of the sand...is there much more of it left to go?
