Longest Day 2018

I thought I was going to spend today stitching, but I had two appointments and was told that we needed several items from the store. So I spent yesterday stitching! (Or at least a few extra hours!)
I worked on my Drawn Thread Sampler by Gay Ann Rogers. I feel like I made some progress.
Here are some photos of my work:

I took a deep breath and cut my next section:
This piece is challenging. It is stretching me. I am learning a lot. Is it perfect? No! Do I care? No! I think it is fun watching the patterns develop, but I look forward to Friday when I hope to work on Uncle Sam's Hat.

When you are done with this piece, you could use it as a stencil!!!

Awesome progress Beth. Such a pretty design. Something I would never try.

That’s an amazing progress and well done on taking the challenge and not care if it’s perfect or not. It’s the imperfections that make it your piece and not just “one more” and as long as you’re enjoying that’s what matters.

Wonderful work. I love the way you build up the pattern after cutting the threads.

Great progress! I think all that cutting would be positively nerve wrecking for me.

it's looking lovely! I actually love cutting the threads, a bit strange, I know! How do you decide what you're going to work on? Do you have a set rotation?
