I think I put all the leaves around the blossoms, but while stitching last night, I snagged the top blossom and disturbed a stitch. Yes, it is very noticeable and it must come out. Since that flower is the wrong color anyway, I don't mind restitching it too much. But after it is in, I plan on finishing as much as possible of this section and covering it with plastic wrap. I like to see what I have stitched!
As far as the stitch for the beard for Santa Heart: it is so easy, you will laugh. It looks almost like turkey work or maybe even french knots, but it is just a couched thread. I do not like to couch, but this is so easy! The instructions call for Fluffy Fleece which I did not have so I substituted a specialty yarn from Patons called Allure. It is coming out very fluffy; my father-in-law had a beard like it at one point and all the kids thought he was Santa. (Great fun at grocery stores.)

I love this piece! I used to have a crabapple tree in my back yard years ago - so beautiful when it was in bloom.
This is gorgeous! Love the beard info too!
