Promise of A Mystery-Ran out of Thread

 I was working on my border when I ran out of Kreinik #12.  Thanks goodness my LNS is getting some in later this week.
I did not do the couching stitch that Sue Reed suggested.  I did a satin stitch in my overdyed thread.

I did the same satin stitch on my mystery last year, but with Vineyard silk. The couching was taking too long (or I was too impatient!). Love the overdye look on yours!
