 Well, today is the day we post things that have to do with gifts. I have been busy trying to get Christmas gifts done, which I can't share.

But this is going to be a gift for a friend. Hopefully. We will see.

Now I need to give it a bath and iron it.

The pattern was from The Attic along with the original conversion. I changed colors from threads I bought from Sassy Jack's. Soie Surfine and 56 count Sycamore Seedpod. I need to look at my WIPs and see what else I can finish.

Gifted Gorgeousness August 2025

 Today is the day we post items that have to do with gifts. The complete information can be found at Serendipitous Stitching the awesome blog by Jo.

A friend and her husband are fantastic gardeners. I went the other day and picked banana peppers that I pickled:

I also made honey mustard pickles that I will gift later this fall.

I have been working on Pour ta Fete. I keep thinking I will finish this month, but I know it won't get done until December. Lots and lots of tiny stitches!

I have been trying to get my Pour ta Fete done:

 Well, it's time for my GG post. I have been plugging along on Pour ta Fete 

I'm so close to being finished but have decided to change the pattern a bit.  I'll try to remember to take photos.

 I decided to change the initials on Pour ta Fete.

I will do my mom's initials which shouldn't be too difficult.

 I finally finished this book cover for my mom. I hope she likes it.

 

 

A Finish for Gifted Gorgeousness

 I buckled down and finally finished my Baltic Easter Basket Cover by Avlea Folk Embroidery. This is a gift for my daughter. She is visiting this week and will take it with her.

I used Londonderry linen 80/3 for the hemstitch.
