But I did. I started something new. My excuse is it is a gift for a friend.
I read on the Internet that tonight is a Dark Moon. Interesting. This is the time we post a picture of our orts.
I did quite a bit of stitching this weekend.

A friend and her husband are fantastic gardeners. I went the other day and picked banana peppers that I pickled:
I also made honey mustard pickles that I will gift later this fall.I have been working on Pour ta Fete. I keep thinking I will finish this month, but I know it won't get done until December. Lots and lots of tiny stitches!

The colors are gorgeous and she is so much fun! She is put away again, but after I finish Pour ta Fete, she might come back out to play!I have been trying to stay on task with my stitching. I've given myself 18 months to finish this project. Let's see how that goes!
The large Rhodes stitch is incorrect and will need to be ripped!

My mother in law passed away in June and we held her memorial in July. It was a lovely service for a wonderful lady.
