I'm debating on whether to add another Motif on the right. What do you think?

Gifted Gorgeousness June
Well, it's time for my GG post. I have been plugging along on Pour ta Fete
I'm so close to being finished but have decided to change the pattern a bit. I'll try to remember to take photos.

A Stitch or Two
I am trying to get Band 1 done on my Phoenix Band Sampler by Northern Expressions Needlework.
I did get all the way across so now I am just filling in the spaces.

Quaker Drum
Making progress on my drum.
I need to figure out one more large Motif and then add smaller ones. I will be using Quaker Samplers by Lesley Wilkins to find patterns.

A Bit of Tone on Tone
I've been working on Bees in the Greenhouse by The Blue Flower. A little hard on the eyes but I like the tone on tone .

WIPocalypse May 2025
This is Melissa's brain child. Find all the information here.
Well, I managed to get a bit of stitching done this month.
First up, Pour ta Fete -I finished a letter!
Next month we have the challenge of stitching one stitch on a piece every day of the month. Pour ta Fete is my choice for the challenge.
I made progress on my drum:
And I got a section done on my Limonera Pear:
Hapsburg Lace Needlecase and the scissors case are moving forward:
This Blue Flower piece, Bees in the Greenhouse needs some attention:
But I finished my first little section on my Harmony of Nature Casket!
The question from Melissa this month is: How do you personally distinguish between a Work in Progress (WIP) and an Unfinished Object (UFO)?
A WIP is something I am currently stitching; a UFO are the projects in my basement!

A Half of a Pear Section
My goal is to have this little section of pear done before the end of the month. I also realized I can gift the finished piece to a friend, if I can get it done before the end of the year....

I Lied
I decided to change the initials on Pour ta Fete.
I will do my mom's initials which shouldn't be too difficult.Tuesday, May 13, 2025
Decision Made
I have been trying to figure out if I should personalize Pour ta Fete or leave it as charted. Laziness won and I am stitching it as charted.

A Restart
I don't like my start on AC Bluebird by Sassafras Samplers:
I think it's the purple banding with the over dyed silk.So I am making a drum using the pattern while I decide how I will stitch the whole sampler:
I'm using Ocean Aire by Fox and Rabbit 37 count linen and Silks4u silks from the Advent box.Monday, May 5, 2025

Ripping and Decisions
I ran out of a thread while working on my needle case:
I know I will use the yellow/gold for accents but could not decide between the Dazzle, Sue Spargo threads or DMC816.

I just watched Brenda over at Handwork Maniac on Flosstube. She has an interesting way to do Maynia. I won't be able to explain it well, so go watch her!
Anyway, I thought I would try to post daily one of the projects I am stitching. I usually stitch on 2 or three pieces daily. My goal this month is to finish one so I can start something new. We will see.
Here's my calendar for April:
I'm working on the next section of the Limonera Pear. It's a study group with my local EGA:Tuesday, April 29, 2025

Well, I have been stitching and have made some progress on my projects.
This SAL is the brainchild of Melissa over at Measi's Musings . The question of the month is: Let's talk fabric- what is your go-to fabric dyer, your preferred type, count, color, etc? Personally, I love BeStitchMe fabrics . I like all colors and try to collect as many as possible. But my preferred count would be 40 or 45 count linen.
Here are my projects, in no particular order-
Pour ta Fete:
Mary Fosh-Running with Needles and Thread:
Goldwork hedgehogs:
Hapsburg Lace Needlecase-Tanya Berlin:
Limonera Pear:
Mushrooms-Stitched Stories:
And two finishes! Quaker Hornbook by With Thy Needle:
And Janette Kirkland-Queenstown Sampler Designs:
This may need some cording, but maybe next month.
