Stress Stitching

Life is a little stressful right now. I think a lot of people feel stressed right now. So when I am overly stressed I stop anything that adds to my stress. I listen to the Bible and stitch. Since stitching slows down your heart rate and lowers your blood pressure, it's the perfect activity to calm myself down. Also, listening to God's word puts everything in perspective.

For some reason counted canvas wasn't working so I pulled out Alice Ellen Usher. One color and just letters or numbers. Perfect.

I also purchased this cute thread holder from

Sassy Jacks It makes me happy.

Sewing words and numbers would not de-stress me, but each to their own on the type of sewing. Hope you are feeling more you soon.

Hope as October comes you are feeling less stressed. Our stress is just starting we have a wedding at the end of the month - so stitching is welcome and helps

I also throw myself into stitching when I'm feeling stressed - it usually helps! Hope your life calms down soon, though.
