WIPocalypse Post September 2023

 Well, I made some serious dents in my WIPs. Very Excited! This SAL is run by Melissa over at Measi's Musings . Her question this month is "Are you a seasonal stitcher? If so, which seasons do you find yourself more productive or less productive?" I tend to find more time to stitch in the winter as I don't have the garden, but I stitch almost every day.

I finished Mary Parson 1790:

I also started and finished the Mabel Tuke Small from the September Soiree run by Sassy Jack's.

I have managed to finish another letter for the Sampler Book by Erica Michaels:

And I finished Drawn Thread Sampler by Gay Ann Rogers:

Whitework and a Bit of Bling

 I decided I really should finish this piece during Sampler September. It has been in my WIP pile since 2014, I do believe.

I cut the threads and I need to start wrapping bars. 

I have done the next part of my gold work heart.

I am enjoying stitching this piece. I may have to look into more gold work.

And Another Finish!

Well, it needs the date, but that won't be too hard! I actually enjoyed the queen stitches, but the over two eyelets were a bit of a struggle.

September Soiree 2023

 I was able to be part of Sassy Jack's September Soiree. It was a lot of fun.  I was able to sign up for the Mabel Tuke small.

Because I Had a Finish...

 I decided to start a new project, Immaculate Heart by Clara Stitching. Yes, it is gold work which I swore I would never do. But this is fun! It is a gift for my mom.

Not perfect, but I am learning.

A Finish!

 I managed to finish Mary Parsons 1780 by The Uncommon Thread. Yipee!

I had to adjust several things because of my mistakes. Now to get her framed.

Well, I'm Close to A Finish

 I have been working hard on Mary Parsons:

Hopefully I will pull her back out this week. Right now, my Drawn Thread Sampler is calling my name.

Tomatoes and Grapes and Apples and Samplers

 I have been super busy this canning season. As I type this, I have 42 quarts of tomatoes,  15 quarts of tomato sauce and 12 quarts of marinara sauce. I need to make grape jelly and the apple tree is loaded.

BUT- I managed to get most of a page finish on Susan Schlitcher 1845:

 I also was able to finish a letter on the Sampler Book by Erica Michaels:
