This piece was from a workshop that I took with my daughter many years ago through my local guild. It was a Petite Project on the EGA website that Judy Jeroy kitted up for us and taught. I finished mine and kept thinking I would change the colors on my daughter's piece after she abandoned it. I never bought different crewel wool so I finally decided to just stitch it.
What will I do with two pieces that are exactly the same? No clue. I am thinking about making a bag, but that requires my sewing machine. Hmmm. Any thoughts? Oh! I didn't eat all that cake! It was shared among family!

Hi Beth: Nice design, your stitching is perfect, the cake looks yummy.

I am more interested in the cake than stitching this time! You could make companion pillows, or you could add a border of some sort around the new piece to make it a little different.
You cake is the luxury version of your usual chocolate posts!
Hope you'll find some use for your matching flowers.
I like the idea of a double side bag. I also like the look of the chocolate cake!
