The question this year is your favorite Christmas book. That was a difficult one. My favorite Christmas story is from the book of Luke:
But there is always the Christmas Carol by Dickens.
I did not stitch anything for Christmas this year. I do need to think about finishing some larger pieces to use to decorate. And I have an issue; I finished these Mill Hill bead kits, but cannot for the life of my figure out how to display them. Any help would be appreciated!

Have you thought about hanging your ornaments on a mug tree? Vintage mug trees often have 6 or 8 arms and would look great as a table centerpiece.
The absolute Christmas story. A mug tree is a great idea or a small branch. I see many in shops but you could easily find one 8n the garden or on a walk. I have a branch from my grandmother's tree that I use at Easter, I secure it in a vase filled with glass pebbles but sand or rice would work. Merry Christmas 🎄
Your Mill Hill pieces are lovely. I sometimes display my ornaments or special cards on internal doors. I wrap a ribbon right around the door from top to bottom and tie it in a bow tightly at the back. At Christmas I sometimes I put two or three ribbons on a door, evenly spaced. Then I attach the ornaments or cards, using tiny pegs or pins. Another option is to hang each ornament from a curtain rod or curtains.
I thought of a mug tree too, but there's another idea that I saw on one of the blogs earlier on the hop (sorry I can't remember which one) - she used wooden doweling to create a flat-to-the-wall tree to display ornaments. I thought it was brilliant and perhaps it might be a great idea for your ornaments.
I like Bronny's suggestion of a mug tree. You have a good selection of Mill Hill pieces it would be a pity not to have them on display.
Oh my gosh, these are just beautiful!! I immediately thought of a mug tree ... you would position them strategically from top to bottom. How fun to have them to share!! :)

I have to agree with you about my favorite Christmas story being the one from Luke in the Bible. I try to imagine what it must have been like for Mary and Joseph...the wonder of the Shepherds and the Wise Men who traveled from far away lands. Your Nativity ornaments are beautiful. I recently finished a set of the 12 Days of Christmas, and found a long garland that looks like pine branches. I hung it like a swag and then hung my ornaments from the garland, that might look sweet with these ornaments strategically placed to tell a story. Have a very Merry Christmas!

What a wonderful Mill Hill set.
Lovely stitching. I made just the Wise Men, and glued them to a wide (4 inch) ribbon which I hang from the wall.
Those ornaments are lovely. How about arranging some frosted twigs in a vase and hanging them from those?
These Mill Hill ornaments are lovely! There have been many great ideas on how to display them; I'd like to suggest one more: How about a pin board (you know, those cork boards you can pin postcards and things too?). You could arrange them any way you like and change them around and also pin/glue additional decoration to it.
