Well, I have been rather under the weather so this will be fairly quick. This SAL is the brainchild of
Melissa . Each month she asks us a question and this year it is about a time we took a leap with our stitching. When I was a newly married and had just moved to the Great White North (as I called it), my husband and I went to the local state fair. He wanted to look at all the machines and I wanted to hang out with him-hey! we were newly weds! We stopped at one building and the St Paul Needleworkers of EGA had set up a demonstration of stitching. At that time I did some counted cross stitch and crewel work and I was intrigued. I picked up a brochure and took a deep breath and went to a meeting. Wow! Did they open my eyes to the possibilities in needlework. They signed me up for a group correspondence course which taught me to stitch on linen. I learned needlepoint and hardanger from these lovely ladies. It was well worth the risk. They are still an active guild and if you live close-by, you should check them out.
What have I done this month?
1. MH 1656
2. Dragonfly Art Quilt
3. Butterfly
FINISH!
4. L. Genders
5. Inchies
6. Agnus Dei I started this
7. Linen and Threads SAL 2020 I have finished January....
Ok. I need to go as my head is starting to hurt. Hope you have a great week!

Sorry that you are not feeling well. I am definitely glad that you took that leap and joined the Guild. You've been able to show us such beautiful stitching.
Beautiful projects you have shared here.
Hope you are soon feeling much better.
Did you realize there's a 12 word phrase you can speak to your crush... that will trigger deep emotions of love and impulsive attraction for you buried inside his heart?
Because deep inside these 12 words is a "secret signal" that triggers a man's impulse to love, please and care for you with all his heart...
====> 12 Words Will Trigger A Man's Love Impulse
This impulse is so hardwired into a man's genetics that it will drive him to work better than ever before to do his best at looking after your relationship.
Matter-of-fact, triggering this dominant impulse is so binding to achieving the best ever relationship with your man that as soon as you send your man a "Secret Signal"...
...You will instantly notice him expose his mind and heart to you in such a way he's never expressed before and he'll recognize you as the only woman in the galaxy who has ever truly interested him.
I wish we had guilds like that around here!
Wonderful progress this month. I especially love the colours on the Linen & Threads sampler.
Take care of yourself, I hope you feel better!
How nice that you joined the group and learned so much. Are you still involved with it?
You have so many lovely pieces, you've been busy!
