Heirloom Sampler- A Few Words

Not much progress, but I hope to finish this verse tonight along with the flowers that go in the band.

I have joined the A to Z Challenge in April.  My goal is to post once a day,except Sundays, on something related to needlework...Let's see if I succeed.

WIP Elizabeth's Skirt

I am having a hard time with the skirt pattern.  I ripped it out several times before I got it correct.  At least I hope it is correct. I know the pattern on the left is incorrect and will have to come out.  I am not sure what is next but it may be the dreaded veil.  I think people had trouble with it so I am not looking forward to it.  Although it is so lovely once it is stitched....

First Layer of Background

Well, I have been busy with life but managed to keep stitching on Elizabeth.  I need to get her veil in before I add the next layer of background which I think will go faster.  I am working on her skirt but I think I read the chart incorrectly.  I will move to the right side and see if I can get a rhythm going before I return to the left side.

WIP-Elizabeth

I am so glad the sleeves are done! I did a quick scan of what I have left and I started to get depressed.  Lots of background, the skirt, veil and jewels.  I do like how she is looking but will I get done by May?

Still Need to Finish

It is icy out today so if I have some time I will try to get the backs on these.  But I need to do some baking too....
